How To Carry Out Branched Chain Amino Acid Supplementation

To take BCAA + Glutamine, simply mix one scoop of the powder into water, juice, or as part of a smoothie or protein shake. Stir thoroughly to ensure that the powder completely dissolves before consuming otherwise you may taste bits, or there may be unmixed powder stuck to the side of the drinking vessel. You can drink the solution before, during or after a workout, but relatively speaking it is preferred to do so following a workout as that is when the muscle fibres have torn and have a more urgent need of nourishment. When consuming before a workout, consume within half an hour of commencement to avoid bloating or lethargy. Equally, when supplementing post workout, consume within 3 hours for optimal effect.
