Green Spirulina Houmous


  • 1 can of chickpeas (400g)
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp Spirulina powder
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt & pepper to taste


  1. Drain the chickpeas from their can.
  2. Add all the ingredients except the spirulina powder into a blender.
  3. Blitz.
  4. Add more olive oil if needed for a smoother consistency.
  5. Gradually add the spirulina powder and mix until smooth.

Serve with chips, crackers, with veggies or on toast. Add basil or mint leaves for decoration.
